There have been significant changes to the Ofsted inspection framework since our inspection. This short, three‑minute YouTube Video explains these changes clearly for parents.

The new inspection judgements set a very high standard and are not comparable to those used previously.

The biggest change is that there is no longer an overall grade, bust a series of judgements.  These provide families with more insight into a school’s strengths and the quality of education than a single-word judgement ever could.

To help understand the developing national picture, we have reviewed of the outcomes from the 212 primary schools that were judged ‘Good’ at their last inspection and now have a published report under the new framework. The table below shows that, for the majority of these schools, the new judgement is ‘Expected’ across most areas.
