My Money Week. It will take place on 16th-22nd March. As part of this week- there should be a week long timetable of activities planned for children themed around money 

The purpose of the week is to develop children’s understanding of coins, simple calculations and real-life money use through a fundraising event and through fun, practical, and interactive activities.

Also that there will be cross-curricular links that week: stories with money, art for designing coins/purses, simple problem-solving challenges etc.

All children can dress as "Money Wizards" on Tuesday 16th March. The idea being on that day also that you give the children fun activities to do with money (i.e. completing magical money missions- counting coins to unlock a treasure chest for example).

Each Year group will  run their own fundraising event to raise money for school. The winning class will receive a prize.
